Galactose is a monosaccharide that can be found in milk, and it is involved in different biological processes in human body.Eton"s Galactose Assay Kit provides a simple and reliable method for quantifying galactose in biological samples, such as serum,plasma,cell culture media etc. In the assay, Galactose is oxidized by enzyme reactions to yield color product, which can be measured at 570nm for colorimetric assay, and the color intensity is proportional to Galactose concentrations, therefore, the sample Galactose concentration can be accurately calculated based on the Galactose standards.
